I have many years experience as a General Manager in the Automotive Parts distribution industry. As a General Manager, I love working with people to motivate them to produce results. I have worked with branch and sales managers to increase sales and restructure departments to run more efficiently. It was a competitive market and the ever-changing world of the web and ecommerce made it even more demanding and I realized that I needed to evolve in my knowledge and skills to keep up with the ever-changing world and the powerful tool of the world wide web.
PRESENT
I wanted to learn the skills I needed to utilize the web and influence ecommerce and our day to day tasks. It is a powerful tool to make information available and influence consumer buying power. I am certified as a full-stack developer from University of Arizona Bootcamp. The languages I am skilled in are HTML6, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Firebase, NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, Express, P5JS, and ReactJS. Through this knowledge I am able to create user-friendly apps and websites that make our lives and businesses more efficient and save time and money.
PERSONAL
For my enjoyment I love to BBQ and go fishing and play golf. Many people have told me that I should open a restaurant but that would take the joy out of serving and hosting others. My specialties are smoked brisket, baby back ribs, and tri-tip. For the first time ever I BBQ/Smoked a turkey last Thanksgiving. My family said it was the best turkey they ever had. If you ever want to come by for a taste my wife, daughter, and I would love to have you over!
